Todd Neider

Dr. Todd Nieder, DC, DNSP

Lead Physician/Director

His background in Sports Medicine and rehabilitation has allowed a unique blending of what chiropractic and physical medicine have to offer for musculoskeletal dysfunction. He started his practice in May of 2003 with the notion of providing a “unique approach” to musculoskeletal healthcare by combining the best techniques of physical medicine and rehabilitation to the known benefits of chiropractic care.

His educational background is locally rooted from Bridgewater College, with a B.S. in Health Sciences, before continuing his education at Logan College of Chiropractic in suburban St. Louis, Missouri. There, he received another B.S. in Human Biology before receiving a Doctorate of Chiropractic in April of 2003. His post-graduate education includes credentials from Active Release Techniques® and the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a “Performance Enhancement Specialist.” Ongoing certifications through the Prague School of Rehabilitation for the Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization and Mechanical Diagnosis Therapy (McKenzie Method) have also broadened his clinical approach to pain as well as sports performance. He is also board certified by NIKE® as a 360 Golf Performance Specialist, one that is unique to the entire region! Dr.Nieder was also certified by the Prague School of Rehabilitation as a Certified Practitioner in Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) in 2019 and was the FIRST Chiropractor in Virginia to ever complete this achievement! He continues to utilize this concept for most patients, especially for his rehab strategy in the athletic population.

Current educational symposiums take Dr. Nieder across the world to some of the “best of the best” in regards to musculoskeletal patient care. These are typically multi-disciplinary sessions that blend the best of functional rehabilitation and manual techniques. He also feels very privileged to continue his education in order to help his patients reach their full potential.

He also is often requested by James Madison University in the Athletic Training Education Program (ATEP) for lecturing on rehabilitation approaches in Sports Medicine as well as their Athletic Training staff on in-services on the current topics of sports rehabilitation.

Dr. Nieder is also an approved rehabilitation specialist for the Sports Medicine Staff at James Madison University, which is currently in 10+ years of service! Dr. Nieder has also been invited to an “on-site” physician for JMU Sports Medicine during home football games for additional treatment and “game prep” readiness sessions. Further consultations also exist with Bridgewater College and Eastern Mennonite University Sports Medicine.

Dr. Nieder is currently an Adjunct Faculty member of James Madison University Athletic Training Education Program (ATEP) since 2021 and continues to provide educational coursework on diagnostic and rehabilitative topics of the spine and hip regions.

He resides in Dayton with his wife, Kim, and 3 daughters. When not spending time with his family, he enjoys researching more about rehab, playing basketball, weight-training, and playing golf.
